“Cyclone” To Screen At Cinema Wasteland Expo

I received word a few days ago that “Cyclone” will receive it’s first, offline, premiere screening at the 10th anniversary Cinema Wasteland Movie & Memorabilia Expo on Friday, October 1, 2010. Cinema Wasteland’s Expo opens on Friday night with their Short Film block of short films. According the Ken at Cinema Wasteland, their Friday Night Block is one of the most popular features of the expo.

Cinema Wasteland is one of the largest, if not THE largest, gathering for fans of B-movie, underground, and exploitation cinema. It’s so large, they hold it twice a year. Long story short, this crowd enjoys crazy, grindhouse entertainment from filmmakers other than those in Hollywood. My kind of folk.

This year, the godfather of gore Herschel Gordon Lewis will be attending.

One of these days, I’m going to attend the Cinema Wasteland Expo. Just wish it could be this particular one.
